Impressions on Holy Land Trip

Cobwebs of the Past

i ask myself what i was doing in the holy land. a pilgrimage? looking for some upliftment in my spiritual life? evidence of the bible land? to walk the land my Saviour walked?
i guess ... it was all of the above
and what did i find?
God is beyond tombs... temples ...time
...sticks... stones... space
God is with us where we will place Him in our hearts and in our lives ... we are His body in the world

Mount Sinai at Sunrise

I lift up my eyes to the hills

where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord,

the Maker of heaven and earth. (Psa. 121)

This tree growing by the stream flowing from the melting waters of Hebron reminds me of Psa.1
... like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
there was also fish in the stream, remember?
Near this area, Chai Hok again reminded of Jesus' words when he asked, Who do you say I am?

Hey CN, you have put on more thoughts on the trip. Thoughts that I could echo, more that I could think about. Thanks so much. kc
